hi I'm Dave Tubbs and have been working in the building trade on and off for over 30 years. I set up by myself in 2000 because of the need to be based at home for family reasons and also so I could be in control of my time. The name DIY Rescue! was born from the desire to help those who probably can't afford to call in the professionals and want to do as much of the 'job in hand' themselves as possible but have not got all the skills needed to complete it.

I am just as happy fitting a curtain rail as I am fitting a new kitchen or bathroom. I particularly specialise in disabled adaptions from ramps and grabrails to wetrooms! As the Development Officer for Eastbourne and South Wealden MS society I have access to a wide variety of adaptions for people to see and try out.

Whether you have been waiting for new door handles to be put on or the lounge has been in a half decorated state for months, the garden gate is falling off or the promised decking is still piled up by the fence then my strap line says it all.......
